The awarded vendor was the only responding vendor with a developer license, who is an elite authorized Nortel dealer, and who is both tier 2 and tier 3 support certified in IP and TDM support of which the University has both in its network.

The University reserves the right to amend this agreement to increase the dollar obligation and/or quantities, and/or to extend the time period of the term, as needed and as per the terms and conditions outlined in this bid.

Northern Illinois University is seeking bids for a distributor-provided Nortel CS2100/SL100 twelve-month extended service plan to provide Nortel TAS Services with access to Nortel Technical Support for both routine and emergency software technical support. The initial period will be from 7/1/2009 through 6/30/2010, with the opportunity for three extension periods through 6/30/2013.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals. This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval.
