The University awarded a contract for membership in University Leadership Council to Advisory Board Company, Washington, DC, for $59,000.
The membership services include development of best practices and innovative strategies to address the institution's unique set of issues. Specific programs in enrollment management and student retention will be developed as a result of assessment of the institution's functional processes.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
membership is required in the University Leadership Council to receive research services and a library of resources, and NIU has an existing agreement to work with the ULC to develop a software tracking system focused on student success.
