Project Description
Bids are requested for the remodel of existing spaces to add single-user toilets including finishes, toilet fixtures, toilet accessories, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work along with all the appurtenances necessary for a complete installation. All work will be done at Neptune East at Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois 60115.

Pre-Bid Meeting / Site Visit
There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting required for this project
Bidders must visit the site, sign in with the facility representative and indicate the site visit on the bid form.

The Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on April 16, 2019 at 2:00 pm (Central Standard Time).

Pre-Bid Meeting will be held in Holmes Student Center Tower (HSC) Room 306, 340 Carroll Avenue, Dekalb, IL. Parking is available for $5 in the Pay Lot south of HSC or $1 Pay Stations in Lot 5 Contact NIU Campus Parking Services at 815.753.1045 for additional information.

Bidders who fail to attend the pre-bid meeting and visit the site will not be allowed to bid on this project.

This Bid has a BEP Goal-10% Minority (MBE) and 10% Women owned (WBE)The University desires participation either on a direct basis or through subcontracting efforts. The Bidder must submit a Business Enterprise Program (BEP) Utilization Plan in accordance with Section 00 2121 of this bid document.

At the time of bid, Vendor, and/or proposed Subcontractor(s) must be certified with CMS as BEP vendor. Failure to complete a Utilization Plan (with Letter of Intent(s)) or provide Good Faith Effort documentation shall render the bid non-responsive or not responsible.
