Northern Illinois University is requesting proposals to automate its visitors’ parking lot located south of the Holmes Student Center on Carroll Ave. The visitors’ lot has approximately 225 spaces and an existing booth with electrical service and network connectivity. The goal is to automate this lot with an entry ticket station and an exit pay station, and manage these functions from the Holmes Student Center. The university desires to maintain the current booth and lot configuration with minimal physical changes. This system must be fully operational by July 1, 2010.
Pre-Bid Meeting/Site Visit
There is a required pre-bid meeting and site visit on April 15, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. local time at the Holmes Student Center Douglas Room on the second floor of the Holmes Student Center. Bidders must sign in at the pre-bid.

Submit 3 copies of the response as defined in the specifications. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. Proposal documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
