The University awarded a contract for
air travel for the Poinsettia Bowl Game.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which
the need for services to protect or futher University interests was immediate and use of other competitve source selection procedures under the Illinois Procurement Code could not have been accomplished without significant risk of causing disadvantages to the University
NIU Athletics has a need for air travel for the NIU students to attend the Poinsettia Bowl Game on December 19, 2006, in San Diego, CA. Pursuant to the contract between this vendor and NIU the emergency order is hereby submitted.
