Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking bids on the following vehicles:- 1 new Model Year 2002 four-door sedan, Chevrolet Cavalier, Ford Focus, or University approved equal
- 2 new Model Year 2002 8-passenger minivan w/cargo space, Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Dodge, or University approved equal
- 2 new Model Year 2002 mini pickup truck, 4 x 4 , Chevrolet S-10, Ford Ranger, Dodge Dakota, or University approved equal
- 2 new Model year 2002 3/4 ton 4 x 4 Pickup truck, Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, GMC or University approved equal
- 2 mid-sized station wagons, Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, GMC, Saturn, or University approved equal
- 1 Model Year 2002 3/4 ton window hauling van, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Dodge, or University approved equal
- Colors to be determined by the SIUC Travel Service Department
The vehicles are to include all equipment advertised as standard and must meet University specifications which may be requested from the SIUC Purchasing Department.

Trad-in vehicles may be inspected on 2-19-02 at the Travel Service Office between the hours of 9:00 a.m., and 3:00 p.m.
An award will be issued to the lowest bidder meeting specifications and conditions.
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents.
Contingent on Board of Trustees approval.
Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office.
Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
