for accordian folding doors (Bid # C-02-8619M).
Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking bids for 350 folding doors (200 46" x 90" and 150 48" x 75-1/2") walnut stained, to meet the following specifications:- Constructed from vertical kiln dried wood slats, 7/8" x 1" wide x 1/8" thick
- Walnut color
- Slats to be fastened with interwoven weaving cords
- Weaving cords to be a minimum #12 hard finish, 38 lb test cord, spaced a maximum of 4" apart
- Leading rail to be minimum 1/2" wide with handles and 10 lb pull magnetic catch
- Non-metallic tracks and rollers to ensure smooth and quiet operation
- All screws and hardware required for installtion shall be provided
- Tracks and doors are to be shipped in the same box
A contract will be awarded to the lowest bidder meeting specifications and conditions.
Bidders may be required to provide a sample of their product as well as written specifications.
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents.
Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office.
Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
