for an HPLC system controller (Bid # C03-10697-0105M). The University is seeking one HPLC system for direct control of HPLC components through fiber optic interfacing and user-friendly operation screens. The requested equipment must contain the following:

  • One on-line degasser, four channel inline membrane degasser for flow rates up to 20 ml/min per flow line
  • A solvent delivery unit: Serial dual plunger for routine HPLC analysis and low pressure gradient operation
  • Low pressure gradient unit
  • 100 ul Semi-Micro Mixer: Stainless Steel mixing chamber to be used in semi-micro to standard analytical applications, three inlets for ternary gradient systems
  • Fast Autosampler: Capacity of 100 - 1.5 ml vials or 80 - 4 ml vials, or 2 x 96 standard or deep-well plates
  • Column Oven: Full sized oven with forced air temperature control from 10 C above ambient temperature to 80 C, accomomodates a manual injector mixer, and 2 FCV-14 column switching valves
  • Post column derivatization unit for amino acid analysis
  • UV-VIS detector for HPLC with D2 and W lamps for wavelength to include standard flow cell, 1 cm path length
  • Fluorescence detector for HPLC with a wavelength range of 200-600 nm
  • Class VP 7.2 chromatograply software license for one instrument
  • RS-232C Cable, 9-pin female-9-pin female cross cable
  • Analytical balance, w/built-in motor driven calibration mass for touch key calibration

Due to the ending of the State of Illinois Fiscal Year on June 30, 2003, all University commitments must be paid within a limited period of time following that date. Do not quote unless delivery and billing can be made prior to Aug 9, 2003

An award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting specifications and conditions.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
