Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking bids for miscellaneous sheet metals and sheet metal supplies to include, but not be limited to the following:
- Copper, 16 oz., 36" x 96"
- Steel, 24 Ga, 48" x 120", painted, medium bronze
- Steel, 24 GA, 48" x 120", painted, bone white
- Steel, sheet, galvanized, 16, 18, 20 GA, 48" x 120"
- Steel, sheetmetal, 22 & 24 GA, 48" x 120"
- Steel, Stainless Mill, 16 & 22 GA, 48" x 120"
- Steel, Aluminum, .040, 48" x 120"
An award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting specifications and conditions.
The term of any resulting agreement will be from the date of execution through June 30, 2004 with the University's sole option to renew for two additional twelve month periods beginning July 1, 2004 contingent upon need, satisfactory performance, and availability of funds.
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof.Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents.Contingent on Board of Trustees approval.Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office.Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
