for a lamp pumped harmonic laser (Bid # C10311-0022M). Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking bids for a Q-switched lamp pumped Nd:YLF second harmonic laser to meet the following specifications:

  • Wavelength: 527 nm, lamp-pumped Nd:YLF based technology
  • Laser output: Pulsed, controllably and precisely variable from 0 Hz single shot to 10,000 Hz
  • Temporal pulse width: Variable @ ~200ns @ 0 Hz, to ~1000ns @ 10,000Hz
  • Pulse to pulse stability: 2% rms or better
  • Average power: 30 W @ 1000 Hz, 40 W @ 10,000 Hz
  • Pulse energy: 30 mJ @ 1000 Hz, 4 mJ @ 10,000 Hz
  • Electrical power requirements: Less than 7 k Watts
  • Standard one year warranty
  • Pulse width: 1 microsecond nominal
  • Beam diameter: 4.0 mm
  • Polarization: Horizontal
  • Beam pointing stability: 50 urad
  • Long term operating instability: 5% (8 hrs)
  • Pulse/pulse instability: 2% rms
  • Operating PRF: Single shot to 10 kHz

An award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting specifications and conditions.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
