Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking bids for flourescent light bulbs to be purchased on an as needed basis for the period 25 September 2001 through 30 June 2002. The University is anticipating purchasing approximately five thousand (5000) FLE28QBXA827 flourescent lamps to be used in various buildings on campus.
The lamps to be bid must meet the following specifications: Wattage: 28, average life hours: 12,000, Lumens (initial): 1,750, Lumens (mean): 1,485, Color temperature (K): 2,700, CRI: 82, Voltage: 120, Bulb BiazQ (T4), Base: Medium, Nominal length (inches): 5.90. Minimum order requirements for the quoted price must be stated in the bid. Lamps are to be shipped FOB SIU Carbondale, IL. An award will be based on low bid meeting specifications and conditions.
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
