The University intends to purchase a DT-X echosounder system for conducting large scale surveys of fish and bottom habitats in large rivers and lakes. The system required allows multiple transducers to be deployed and monitored simultaneously and affords complete portability to include integration with a portable field computer.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
compatibility of equipment, accessories, replacement parts, or service is a paramount consideration.
