$37,524.81.
The University is entering into an agreement for the rental of 2- bedroom apartments and studio apartments in conjunction with the Hollywood Studies Internship Program. Housing is arranged for the participants so they do not have to negotiate individually for housing in Los Angeles, CA.
The apartment complex's close proximity to a majority of the internship sites makes it safer for and assists our students in reducing commute time to and from the internship sites. In addition, the complex provides a greater degree of security for the students in that it is a controlled access community, and accommodates the students as far as offering short-term rental agreements.
The rental agreements are to include furniture, utilities, one wireless internet access code, full kitchen package, and linen package.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
preferred vendor affords a greater degree of security as a controlled access community located in close proximity to the majority of Hollywood Studies Internship sites.
