for a wheelchair/passenger transport vehicle. The University is seeking bids for one each model year 2005 or 2006 Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Dodge or University approved equivalent wheelchair/passenger transport vehicle. The unit must adapt from a 10 + 2 to a 6 + 3 configuration, and meet the minimum specifications listed in the attached document.

The University offers for trade-in consideration one each 1999 Ford Econoline passenger van, and one each 1993 Dodge B-350 handicapped van with lift. The trade-ins may be inspected on March 8, 2005 at the Southern Illinois University Travel Service facility.

An award will be made to the lowest overall bidder meeting specifications and conditions.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
