The University received three responses for this solicitation; however none of the three addressed all of the requirements listed in the Request for Quotation. A new solicitation will be initiated, which will require a pre-bid meeting with any interested party to address the needs of the University, and what will be required of the potential bidders.

The University is seeking competitive bids for miscellaneous auto repair parts, excluding equipment to service the Travel Service automobile repair operations. Potential vendors must bid on the core list of items and meet the specifications and conditions listed in the attached document. The resulting contract will be for a period from the date of execution through June 30, 2010 contingent on a semi annual University audit to gauge performance, pricing, and adherence to specifications and conditions.
An award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting specifications and conditions
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
