for folding doors (Bid # C8081M). Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking bids for accordian folding doors to meet the following specifications:

  • Constructed from vertical kiln dried woods slats 7/8" x 1" wide x 1/8" thick
  • Walnut color
  • Slats to be fastened with interwoven weaving cords
  • Weaving cords to be minimum #12 hard finish 38 lb test cord, spaced a maximum of 4" apart
  • Leading rail to be minimum 1/2" wide with handles and 10 lb pull magnetic latch
  • Vendor to provide non-metallic tracks and rollers to ensure smooth and quiet operation
  • All screws and hardware required for installation shall be provided
  • Tracks and doors are to be shipped in the same box
  • Must match existing Wovynfold #300 stock
Quantity and sizes are as follows:
  • 300 each 46" x 90"
  • 250 each 48" x 75-1/2"
An award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting specifications and conditions.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
