  • Theta/2-Theta Goniometer
  • 2 Independent axes, radius 180-250 mm, 0.002 degree minimum step size, <0.0001 degree resolution
  • Range: -30 to +160 degree 2-theta
  • Single sample holder
  • Sample Holders: 10 each 53.5 mm diam. with 27 mm diam. x 1.5 mm depression A1
  • Novaculite reference standard and fluorescent screen
  • Generator 60kV, 3kW, high frequency, air cooled
  • Dual detector arm with Grazing Incidence parallel beam collimator and LiF flat monochromator thin film attachment, and Bragg-Brentano focusing optics for powder
  • Tube shield with safety interlocked shutter under software control

An award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting specifications and conditions.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
