The University awarded a contract for gas chromatograph systems and liquid chromatograph to Agilent Technologies for $87,410.05.
This award is for the purchase of equipment which meets the following requirements. The Gas Chromatographs meet the following specifications:
  • Split-splitless injection ports
  • Electronic pressure control throughout the system
  • Autosampler
  • Ability to run off of pre-existing Agilent software
  • One GC to have dual nitrogen-phosphorous detectors
  • One GC to have a flame ionization and electron capture detector
  • Ambient operating temperature of 15 to 35 degrees C
  • Ambient operating humidity: 5-95 percent
  • Storage extremes: -40 to 85 degrees C
  • Operating temperature: 4 degrees C above ambient to 450 degrees C
  • Cryogenic option: -80 C to 450 C
  • Temperature setpoint resolution: 1 degree C
  • Maximum temperature ramp rate: 2 degrees C/sec. up to 110 degrees C
  • Independent heated zones: Six
  • Maximum temperature programming ramps: Six
