Public Higher Education Bulletin

The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University Carbondale hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the renovation to Trueblood Dining Hall project (Bid # E-13375-0209M).

Southern Illinois University Carbondale is accepting bids to furnish all labor, material and equipment to provide all electrical work for the renovation of Trueblood Dining Hall. The work under this request includes, but shall not necessarily be limited to, installation of outlets and lighting as indicated in the bid documents.

An award will be issued to the contractor submitting the lowest proposal that meets the intent of the bid documents.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, April 18, 2002. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

All bids must include:

• Bid security (see complete bid for details)
• All bidders must submit a PC-2 form as required by the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

A pre-bid meeting to discuss this project will be held on April 9, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. CDST in the Physical Plant Conference Room.
