The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University Carbondale hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the renovations to Grinnell Dining Hall project (Bid # E-13375-6658M).

Southern Illinois University Carbondale is accepting bids to furnish all labor, material and equipment to provide all electrical work on the renovations to Grinnell Dining Hall for Univesity Housing. The work under this contract includes, but shall not necessarily be limited to, the installation of outlets and lighting as indicated on the plans and specifications.

A contract will be issued to the lowest bidder meeting the requirements and specifications identified in the bid documents.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday, May 15, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

All bids must include:

Bid security (see complete bid for details)
All bidders must submit a PC-2 form as required by the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

A pre-bid meeting to discuss this project will be held on May 4, 2001 at 10 a.m. CDST in the Trueblood Hall Dining Room.
