for a photovoltaic system (Bid # E-8079M). Southern Illinois University Carbondale is accepting bids to furnish all equipment listed in the bid documents for one 24kW grid tied photovoltaic system to be installed by University Personnel on Faner Hall.

The photovoltaic system will consist of two subarrays, one located to the north and the other to the south of a central mechanical room. The south subarray will consist of 40 PV modules placed in ten rows of four modules each. The north subarray will consist of 40 or 48 PV modules depending on the nominal power rating of the modules supplied. The layout of the north subarray will mirror that of the south subarray.

The modules will be supported by ballasted trays so that no roof penetration is made.

The power conditioning and disconnect equipment will be located inside the central mechanical penthouse.

An award will be made to the Vendor with the lowest proposal, which is determined to be in the best interest of the University.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
