The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University Carbondale hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the entrance replacement project (Bid # E13375-0121M).
The bids are to furnish labor, material and equipment to remove and dispose of existing doors, frames and other miscellaneous items indicated on the provided drawings for the Student Recreation Center on the Carbondale campus.
All work must be complete by August 6, 2004.
An award will be made to the contractor submitting the lowest proposal, which meets the intent of the bid documents.
Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Friday, June 18, 2004. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

A pre-bid meeting to discuss this project will be held on June 9, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. CDST in the Conference Room at the Student Recreation Center, East Grand Avenue, Carbondale, IL.
