The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University Carbondale hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the renovations to Trueblood Dining Hall project (Bid # E13375-6659M).

Southern Illinois University Carbondale is accepting bids to furnish all labor, material and equipment to provide all general work for the renovation of Trueblood Dining Hall for University Housing. The work under this award will include, but shall not necessarily be limited to, the demolition of existing (and installation of new) wall coverings, floor coverings, new ceiling and the placement of a divider wall section.

A contract will be issued to the lowest bidder meeting the requirements and specifications identified in the bid documents.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Monday, May 14, 2001. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

All bids must include:

  • Bid security (see complete bid for details)
  • All bidders must submit a PC-2 form as required by the Illinois Department of Human Rights.

There will be a prebid meeting to discuss this project on May 4, 2001 at 10a.m. CDST in the Trueblood Hall Dining Room.
