for a self-supporting, ammonia scrubber/biofilter.
This request is for a self-supporting scrubber/biofilter type system for use in the construction of an aerobic digester for the treatment of swine waste. This will be a novel system to scrub the ammonia in a biofilm-covered packing to convert it to nitrites and nitrates. This bioreactive scrubber will significantly lesson the height of packing required and the resulting nitrates/nitrites will be easily converted to nitrogen gas in a farm setting.
An award will be issued to the lowest bidder meeting the intent of the bid documents.
