Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking an exemption for programming and affiliation fees for a two-year period, from October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2021.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for programming and broadcast license rights for university-operated radio and television stations(30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(7)) The programming and affiliation fees are for WSIU, WUSI, and WVSI.
