The University awarded a contract for basketball officials.
The University requires officials for the Men's and Women's basketball games during the 2018-2019 season.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for events or activities paid for exclusively by revenues generated by the event or activity, gifts, or donations for the event or activity, private grants, or any combination thereof. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(2)) Services are only provided by Missouri Valley Conference. Membership to the Missouri Valley Conference is by invitation only. SIUC was invited to join during the 1975-1976 season.
