Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking Proposals from qualified firms ("Proposers") to provide food and beverage concessions at events hosted by the University's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics during all athletic competitions and other events held within its athletic venues. The contract term will be for the period beginning on or around July 15, 2013 and continuing through June 30, 2017 based on satisfactory performance, continuing need and availability of funds. The University seeks traditional concession type food, snacks and beverages such as sandwiches, soda, coffee, etc. Specialty food and beverages may be offered by the vender and are subject to approval by SIU. The University reserves the right to renewal for a total of three (3), one year renewals. In no event will the total term of the contract, including the initial term, any renewal terms and any extensions, exceed 10 years.
A proposer's conference consisting of a question and answer session and facility tour will be held at 10:00AM on June 4, 2013 in the Tedrick Auditorium, Boydston Center 189, 1490 Douglas Drive, Carbondale, IL 62901. Attendance is highly recommended. All questions asked during the conference will be answered in writing and posted to the Illinois Public Higher Education Procurement Bulletin.

The Technical Proposal and Pricing Proposal should be furnished in one original and seven copies and one CD or jump drive.

There is no BEP goal for this procurement.
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
