Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking bids for minor remodeling and maintenance projects pertaining to general/concrete construction work for the period of May 1, 2014 through September 30, 2017. Plant and Service Operations will issue instructions to contractors in verbal and written form and/or by drawings to indicate the work involved for the project. The work will be on an as needed basis and may consist of new, repair or replacement work. Duration of work and work force required will be dependent upon the scope of the work as determined by Plant & Service Operations. SIUC Project Labor Agreement and General Conditions shall apply to this project.
A pre-bid conference is scheduled for this project at the Physical Plant break room on the campus of Southern Illinois University, March 11, 2014 at 10:00 AM CST, located at 210 Physical Plant Drive, Carbondale, IL. Attendance is highly recommended.
