The University awarded a contract for .

Southern Illinois University Carbondale will enter an agreement to allow Follett to take over a modified contract to run a bookstore operation for a period of 5 years ending May 31, 2006, with two optional extensions. Payment will be a designated percentage of gross revenue with a cap amount, or a minimum annual payment, whichever is greater. Additionally, Follett will provide scholarship money and an agreed upon amount of capital investment during the period of the agreement.
