Southern Illinois University Carbondale will be accepting bids for the printing of 62,000 Roadpieces, 15,000 Welcome Packs and envelopes, 70,100 Viewbooks (two versions) and envelopes, and 540,000 Searchpieces and envelopes (three version). Please read the entire solicitation package and submit your bid in accordance with the instructions. All forms and signature areas contained in the solicitation package must be completed in full and submitted along with any technical response and the pricing proposal, which combined will constitute the bid.
Registration for conducting business in the State of Illinois (30 ILCS 500/20-43) Sec. 20-43: Bidder or offeror authorized to do business in Illinois. In addition to meeting any other requirement of law or rule, a person (other than an individual acting as a sole proprietor) may qualify as a bidder or offeror under this Code only if the person is a legal entity authorized to do business in Illinois prior to submitting the bid, offer, or proposal. Failure to be in compliance at the time of bid opening will result in your bid being considered non-responsive.
Board of Elections: Public Act 095-0971, which became effective on January 1, 2009, requires vendors to register with the State Board of Elections before bidding on any State contract that exceeds $50,000. Registration is also required for all vendors currently holding and/or bidding on State contracts that in the aggregate exceed $50,000 in value. Please check the State Board of Elections website for information on how to register. Please include your online certification with your bid response. See sample copy included within this bid package. Failure to be in compliance at the time of bid opening will result in your bid being considered non-responsive.
