The University awarded a contract for Ethority LLC, dba TALX Corporation.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which the need for services to protect or further University interests was immediate and use of other competitive source selection procedures under the Illinois Procurement Code could not have been accomplished without significant risk of causing disadvantages to the University.
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act requires that employers begin compliance with several mandates beginning January 1, 2015. To accomplish this, we need a system that will manage ACA compliance:
Provide a month-by-month breakdown of the information needed for IRS 6055 & 6056 reporting.
Classify employees into 4 different employment categories.
Track measurement periods and employment categories continuously for both on-going and new employees (new employees measurement periods will be dynamic based on that individual's hire date).
Track and account for leaves of absence.
Stay current with the highly complex, ever-evolving ACA legislation.
