Aquatic contractor to furnish all material, labor and equipment necessary to complete the design and full engineering of Aquatic and Life Support Systems, as well as associated aquatic equipment, for the Organismal Research Facility. The site is located at McLafferty Annex on the campus of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois. Base bid and all alternates assumes installation of system by SIUC trades. The work shall be done in accordance with the plans and specifications entitled "New Collaborative Research Facility, Phase 1-Equipment Procurement 1, McLafferty Annex" dated 7/16/2014. SIU General Conditions shall apply to this project.
A highly recommended pre-bid conference is scheduled for this project at the Plant and Service Operations break room on the Southern Illinois University Carbondale campus on April 19, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Attendance at this pre-bid conference is strongly encouraged. The Physical Plant Break Room is located at 210 Physical Plant Drive, Carbondale, IL.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals, if applicable. This procurement may be contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Solicitation documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. There is no BEP goal for this procurement.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
