Project Description
Contractor to furnish all material, labor and equipment to repair and repave Douglas Drive on the campus of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois. The work shall be done in accordance with the plans and specifications entitled REPAIR AND REPAVE DOUGLAS DRIVE FROM LINCOLN DRIVE TO SALUKI DRIVE dated April 29, 2021.

SIU Carbondale Project Labor Agreement, General Conditions, and current Jackson County, Illinois prevailing wage shall all apply to this project.

Project Scope:

This project consists of milling existing asphalt, apply surface course, patch areas, provide 4 Schedule 40 filter wrapped pipe, and re-striping roadway.
Pre-Bid Conference:

Project Completion:

Contractor shall have access to project site after receipt of the Notice to Proceed anticipated in July 2021. All work associated with this contract must be completed July 30, 2021. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor and equipment necessary to meet this schedule.

See RFQ #S1374M Business Enterprise Program (BEP) and Veteran Goal Information provided within the front-end bid documents. Compliance with this form completion is mandatory. Failure to complete all forms as described will result in your bid being considered "not-responsive".

Board of Elections: Public Act 095-0971 - If you do $50,000 worth of business annually with the State of Illinois, including the state universities, you are required to register with the State Board of Elections and obtain from them a certificate confirming your registration. If it is discovered that the vendor is non-compliant, but made a good faith effort to comply with registration efforts prior to the date the bid or offer is due, a chief procurement officer may provide the bidder 5 business days to achieve compliance. A chief procurement officer may extend the time to prove compliance by as long as necessary in the event that there is a failure within the State Board of Electionss registration system.
