Project Description
Southern Illinois University is accepting bids to provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and other items necessary to provide graphics for the arena, athletic building, and stadium as required by the contract documents.
Sealed bids will be accepted at the address below until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 23, 2009:

Requirement
All bidders must download the Request for Quotation attachment in order to bid this project. The attachment contains important information pertaining to each project, as well as, the process to obtain bid documents, the pre-bid meeting date, plan holder locations, and contact information.
Pre-Bid Conference
A highly recommended pre-bid meeting for this project is scheduled for May 27, 2009 at 1:00 PM CDST in Lingle Hall, Room #125 on the campus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Attendance at this pre-bid conference is strongly encouraged.
Bid Opening
Immediately after the closing time for receiving bids, all proposals will be publicly opened and read. Bids received after closing time will be returned unopened. The public bid opening and reading is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as acceptance or rejection of any kind.
Bid Acceptance or Rejection
The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to accept the bids deemed to be in the best interest of the owner after all bids have been examined and evaluated.
Statutory Requirements
The successful bidder will be required to comply with all laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, rulings, or enactments of any governmental authority that are applicable to the work or to the project. The successful bidder shall pay prevailing wages and shall utilize equal employment opportunity hiring practices in connection with this project. The Project Labor Agreement will apply to this project.
Availability of Documents
Any supplier receiving a copy of procurement documents from a bid referral service and/or other third party is solely responsible for insuring that they have received all necessary procurement documentation, including amendments. The issuing University is not responsible for insuring that all or any procurement documentation is received by a supplier that is not appropriately registered with the issuing University. Bidders are responsible to continue checking the Illinois Public Higher Education Procurement Bulletin at http://www.procure.stateuniv.state.il.us
The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bids. This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval.
