Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking letters of interest from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide a professional service retainer contract for architectural asbestos and structural consulting.

The Architect firm is to provide professional services on an open-ended basis for a term not to exceed eight (8) years or $5,000,000, whichever expires first. There would not be any guarantee of work assigned. Services would be performed on an as needed basis during the contract period. The following are some, but not all of the typical services that could be required by the professional Architect selected: design and construction documents and over-site on new or remodeling projects; programming; building condition audits; investigations; cost estimates; feasibility studies; asbestos/lead abatement inspections, sampling/testing, asbestos project design and other associated work.

- Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
- Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
- Utilize an AutoCAD compatible system to provide documents.
- There is no BEP goal for this procurement.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
