Southern Illinois University is seeking prime vendor proposals from suppliers to provide food and food service paper items to the dining operations at Carbondale and Edwardsville. All prospective suppliers must submit a proposal for each of the University campuses and a combined proposal encompassing both Carbondale and Edwardsville campuses. Five copies of each of the three proposals are required.

The contract(s) will be effective from July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2005 and may be renewed for two successive one-year terms through June 30, 2007.

There will be a mandatory site visit at 11 AM on April 24, 2002 followed by a mandatory meeting at 1 PM in the Eastmore Room at Trueblood Hall, Carbondale, IL. The mandatory site visit for Edwardsville will be April 25, 2002 at 11 AM in the Cougar Den lower level of the Morris University Center. Award(s) will be based on qualifications of suppliers, pricing, site visits and experience. Proposals will be evaluted by a committee to determine the best proposal(s) meeting the needs of the Universities.
