Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) School of Dental Medicine intends to issue contracts for the construction of an Advanced Care Clinic Building in Alton, Illinois. Due to the complexities of this facility renovation, contractors who wish to submit a bid for the General Construction Contract are required to prequalify to participate in the solicitation. The solicitation-specific prequalification is in addition to the existing 2019 SIUE Purchasing prequalification statement. The solicitation bid package will be available at a later date. This is an SIUE project and funding is currently available. This is not a CDB project. CDB prequalification will not be accepted.
The Construction Experience Data Sheets, with signed contractor cover letter, shall be received by the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Purchasing Department by 4:00 PM prevailing time on October 30, 2019 to be considered. Email submissions to Teresa Shipton
tshipto@siue.edu and Shelly Albert malbert@siue.edu. Documents will only be accepted via email.
General Contractors will be notified if the document is approved or not. General Contractor bids for the forthcoming SDM Advanced Care Clinic will be received from approved RFI #2330 documents.
If the General Contractor has not already done so, the SIUE standard prequalification must be submitted and approved in addition to this project-specific prequalification. The standard prequalification document may be found on the Bulletin website under the RFI Section #2019SIUEPrequal.
