The University awarded a contract for 170 ton chiller.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which
immediate repairs were needed to prevent further loss or damage to University property
Chiller has become increasingly unreliable. The loss of the chiller when campus chilled water is not available would result in the shutdown of the campus computer center. This would result in the loss of all campus e-mail, internet access, payroll, academic labs and other critical academic business systems.
