The University is seeking proposals for the development of an application to model multiple corn-to-ethanol unit operations at a pilot scale research facility into student training simulation environments as a contractor for a Round 4 U.S. Department of Labor Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant for the ?Building Illinois Bioeconomy? (BIB) consortium, which consists of four community colleges and one public University across the state of Illinois. As the lead institution in the BIB consortium, SIUE will be soliciting and evaluating proposals from companies or contractors with a well-established track record of developing simulation applications for student and incumbent worker training environments, including curriculum development support, within a grant performance period ending March 31, 2018.
