for environmental engineering firms interested in conducting an environmental compliance audit.

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville wishes to employ the services of an Environmental Consulting firm to conduct an environmental regulatory compliance audit of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. The audit will encompass operations at Edwardsville and Alton, including the Heating and Refrigeration Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant at Edwardsville. The final report should also include recommendations to achieve compliance for areas where deficiencies are discovered. The following are examples of areas to be addressed:

Underground Storage Tank Evaluation
Waste Management Evaluation
SARA Title III Evaluation
Air Emission Review
Storm Water and Floor Drain Evaluation
NPDES Permit Review
Pretreatment Review
SPCC Plan Review
Contingency Plan Review
Waste Minimization Review
Administration Record Review

Firms interested in providing environmental engineering services for this project should be prequalified with the Illinois Capital Development Board. Proposals should include a complete description of the history, size and capabilities of your firm and a list of the projects which demonstrate your experience with the kind of work we expect to undertake. For each project indicate knowledgeable reference (name, address and telephone number). The following related criteria will be among that used to evaluate the firms requesting consideration for selection: pre-qualification status must have prior experience with similar projects, appropriate staff size and disciplines, prior performance of the firm and its consultants with completed projects at Southern Illinois University and for other clients; and current workload.
