Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is seeking a provider for student legal services to eligible students of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in accordance with the Program Description for Student Legal Services Program, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Proposals should offer services in accordance with the guidelines of the Board of Trustees' policy and the Program Description. Further, proposals should be based upon making available an average of 1.4 hours of legal service per student per year, based upon an estimated 175 students per year. Proposer should propose an annual lump sum payment to be paid for the services by the University. The proposer should also understand that no on-campus facilities will be provided for the proposer. Further, proposer should note that the successful proposer, if any, will be responsible for placing an advertisement in the University's student newspaper, The Alestle, three times per semester, announcing the availability of services. The ad will be subject to the approval of the University.
The University reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in conjunction with this Request for Proposal and to base its final selection, if any, on the optimal combination in SIUE's sole judgement of proposer qualifications, the Program Description, Board of Trustees Policy, and the other relevant considerations.
Proposers should provide, in addition to the information set forth above, the following information:
Full name and address of proposer.
If a partnership, include names and addresses of all partners and indicate if office is ADA accessible and located at or near an MCT bus stop from the SIUE campus. If a corporation, names and addresses of all officers, directors, and shareholders of the corporation, as well as the state of incorporation and proof that the corporation is in good standing.
