The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University governing Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) hereby requests letters of interest and statement of qualifications from Architectural/Engineering firms interested in providing professional services for the following University project.
PROJECT: ADVANCED TECHNICAL WORKER TRAINING FACILITY
Project Budget: $1,100,000
The project will provide a freestanding building located in Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's University Park to house a high technology worker training facility. The purpose of the facility is to intensively train employees from local and regional businesses in computer technology. It will consist of computerized classrooms with associated administrative and support space.
Please submit six (6) copies of a letter of interest and statement of qualifications to Mr. Richard Walker, Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Administration for Planning & Budgeting, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Campus Box 1158, Edwardsville, IL 62026-1158.
The following related criteria will be among that used to evaluate the firms requesting consideration for selection: pre-qualification status, location of firm, prior experience with similar projects, appropriate staff size and disciplines, prior performance of the firm and its consultants with completed projects at Southern Illinois University and other clients, and current workload.
Proposals should include a complete description of the history, size, and capabilities of your firm and a list of the projects which demonstrate your experience with the kind of work we expect to undertake. For each project indicate a knowledgeable reference (name, address and telephone number); a copy of your CDB Pre-qualification Questionnaire and Certificate.
