for architectural/engineering professional services (Request # 8297).
This project will consist of conducting an on-site survey of the HVAC systems in three buildings to analyze the adequacy of the design of these systems. Evaluation will include analyzing heating and cooling design, make-up air systems design, air and moisture infiltration, adequacy of building envelope and exhaust air system design. The evaluation should also include the chilled water piping system insulation. After the initial review is completed it is anticipated that the HVAC system will need to be re-designed with drawings and specifications developed for SIUE to formally bid. The bid specifications and drawings must reflect general, heating, ventilation, electrical, and plumbing contractor work (as required) separately. The anticipated project budget is unknown at this time.
