for engineering services to appraise the replacement cost and conditions of the gas distribution system.

Southern Illinois University and Illinois Power are seeking a consultant to perform engineering services to appraise the replacement cost and condition of the gas distribution system on the Edwardsville Campus of SIUE. The system was installed in the mid-1960's and has been modified and expanded to meet growing campus needs. Based on existing system maps and knowledge of the regional costs, the selected consultant will determine the replacement cost of the existing system. The consultant will also evaluate the existing piping for condition and obsolescence and determine the value of such conditions.

Responses should include:

• Letter of Interest
• Summary of experience appraising natural gas utility systems
• Options for determining the condition of a 38 year old buried gas distribution System
• Training and experience of key people who would be assigned to this project
• Summary of the methodology proposed to complete the study including a timetable for completion of work after contract award
