for A/E services for various SIUE projects.

The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University governing Southern Illinois University Edwardsville hereby requests letters of interest and statement of qualifications from architectural/engineering firms interested in providing professional consulting services forvarious SIUE projects. The selected firm would be used to design small projects that would be funded from appropriations which expire on a fiscal year basis and also projects that arise unexpectedly and have a short window for execution.

Firms interested in providing such services should be a full-service architectural/engineering firm or team and pre-qualified with the Illinois Capital Development Board in all of the architectural/engineering disciplines. The following related criteria will be among that used to evaluate the firms requesting consideration for selection:CDB pre-qualification status, location of firm, adequate staff size and disciplines, prior performance of the firm and its consultants with completed projects at SIUE and other State clients, and current workloads.

Please submit six copies of a letter of interest and statement of qualifications to Richard Walker, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Administration, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Campus Box1158, Edwardsville, IL 62026-1158 or delivered to Rendleman Hall, Room2228.

Proposals should be submitted to Mr. Walker and not to Shelly Albert as listed above.

Proposals should include a complete description of the history, size and capabilities of your firm and a list of projects which demonstrate your level of experience. For each project indicate a knowledgeable reference (name, address and telephone number; and a copy of your CDB Pre-qualification Certificate. CDB 255 format is notrequired.
