Project Description
The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University governing Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) hereby requests letters of interest and statement of qualifications from Architectural firms interested in providing professional consulting services for the following University project.

This project will replace the roofs of six buildings on the Edwardsville campus totaling approximately 300,000 square feet of roof area with new single ply "green" roofing systems. The buildings are: Founders, Alumni, Dunham, Vadalabene Center, Supporting Services, and Rendleman. Work is needed on each of the buildings in order to minimize disruptions of classroom and research activities and to maintain and protect SIUE's investment in its facilities. The initial work of the architect will be to develop scope and project cost estimates.
Please submit 5 copies of a letter of interest and statement of qualifications, along with a CDB 255 form, to Rich Walker, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Administration, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Campus Box 1158, Edwardsville, IL 62026-1158. Although not a CDB project, the following related criteria will be among that used to evaluate the firms requesting consideration for selection: CDB pre-qualification status of submitting firm, location of firm, prior experience with similar projects, appropriate staff size and disciplines, prior performance of the firm and/or its consultants with completed projects at SIUE, and current workload.
Proposals should include a complete description of the history, size, and capabilities of the firm, and a list of projects which demonstrate experience with the kind of work SIUE expects to undertake. For each project, indicate a knowledgeable reference (name, address and telephone number) and a copy of your CDB Pre-qualification Certificate.

- Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
- Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
- Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
