This project seeks architect services to develop program scope and budget and, if approved, plans for Window Replacements, Phase One, SIUE. This project will be funded from State appropriated Capital Renewal funds. Contracts will be awarded by the Capital Development Board. Plans will look at replacing the windows of four buildings on the Edwardsville campus. The buildings are: Peck Hall, Rendleman Hall, Founders Hall, and Alumni Hall. Work is needed on each of the buildings in order to improve each building's energy efficiency. The selected firm will help determine the extent of the work to be done. Total project budget is $3.3 million.
Firms interested in providing such services should submit a team that is able to provide architectural and engineering services, and be pre-qualified with the Illinois Capital Development Board in all of the architectural/engineering disciplines.
The following related criteria will be among those used to evaluate the firms and/or teams requesting consideration for selection: location of firm, prior experience with similar projects, staff size, related state experience, team structure, current workload, and history of accurate cost information. Proposals should include a complete description of the history, size and capabilities of the submitting firm and a list of projects which demonstrate the firm's level of experience. For each project indicate a knowledgeable reference (name, address and telephone number). As a part of the submission, each team member company must include a copy of their CDB Pre-qualification Certificate and a copy of the CDB 255 form for the architect and the engineer.
Please submit six (6) copies of a letter of interest and statement of qualifications to Mr. Richard Walker, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Administration, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Campus Box 1158, Edwardsville, IL 62026-1158 or delivered to Rendleman Hall, Room 2228. Respondent must submit one set of the all of the forms listed on the State Procurement Bulletin website next to this notice. Previous submission of these forms are not acceptable in lieu of response to this project.
To avoid disqualification, there should be no communication with University staff, faculty, or students other than through Rich Walker at (618) 650-2536 or rwalker@siue.edu.
