This project seeks architect services to develop program scope and budget and, if approved, plans to construct an Athletic Office Building at SIUE. The cost of the work will be finalized once a comprehensive cost estimate is determined. The project budget will be funded from external and/or internal financing. Plans will look at designs, costs, and financing for constructing an Athletic Office Building in order to move approximately 33 athletic offices out of the campus core to accommodate the expansion of other programs in the Vadalabene Center. The estimated project budget is $2.5 million.
Firms interested in providing such services should submit a team that is able to provide architectural and engineering services, and be pre-qualified with the Illinois Capital Development Board in all of the architectural/engineering disciplines.
The following related criteria will be among those used to evaluate the firms and/or teams requesting consideration for selection: location of firm, prior experience with similar projects, staff size, related State experience, team structure, current workload, and history of accurate cost information. Proposals should include a complete description of the history, size and capabilities of the submitting firm and a list of projects which demonstrate the firm's level of experience. For each project indicate a knowledgeable reference (name, address and telephone number). As a part of the submission, each team member company must include a copy of their CDB Pre-qualification Certificate and a copy of the CDB 255 form for the architect and the engineer.
Please submit six (6) copies of a letter of interest and statement of qualifications to Mr. Richard Walker, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Administration, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Campus Box 1158, Edwardsville, IL 62026-1158 or delivered to Rendleman Hall, Room 2228. To avoid disqualification, there should be no communication with University staff, faculty, or students other than through Rich Walker at (618) 650-2536 or rwalker@siue.edu. SIUE is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
Only one set of documents need to include the forms listed next to this notice. However, previous submission of these forms will not be acceptable. Without these documents, the response is incomplete and unacceptable.
All information concerning this project has been included in this posting. Additional information will not be released.
