Project Description
The Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University governing Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) hereby requests letters of interest and statements of qualifications from architectural firms interested in providing professional consulting services for various SIUE projects that are generally small in scope, arise unexpectedly, and have a short window for execution.

Qualifications and supporting materials will be accepted at the address below until 4:00 PM, Tuesday July 6, 2010:

Firms interested in providing such services should submit a team that is able to provide architectural and engineering services and be pre-qualified with the Illinois Capital Development Board.
The following related criteria will be among those used to evaluate the firms and/or teams requesting consideration for selection: location of firm, prior experience with similar projects, staff size, related State experience, team structure, current workload, and history of accurate cost information. Proposals should include a complete description of the history, size and capabilities of the submitting firm and a list of projects which demonstrate the firm's level of experience. For each project indicate a knowledgeable reference (name, address and telephone number). As a part of the submission, each team member must include a copy of their CDB Pre-qualification Certificate and a copy of their CDB 255 form.
To avoid disqualification, there should be no communication with University staff, faculty, or students other than through Rich Walker at (618) 650-2536 or SIUE is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
All resulting contracts issued against this notice will have required terms to provide full compliance with Illinois Public Act 96-0795, These terms will apply to the awarded contractor and their subcontractors and include but are not limited to disclosure of financial interests, annual certifications and filing of subcontracts.
Submit one copy of the Bidders Application, Contract Certification, Financial Disclosure Form, IL DHR form, Insurance Checklist, Iran Statement, No Bid Reply Form, and the State Board of Elections Certificate for the lead submitter.
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
  • Submitted 6 copies of their qualifications.
  • Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
  • Pre-qualified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board.
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
