Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, (âSIUEâ and âOwnerâ) is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors (âProposerâ) to provide services associated with moving and temporary storage of University owned furniture located in University Housing (mainly Cougar Village Apartment Housing Complex). The furniture moving and storage will be in accordance with the detailed specifications and general terms and conditions herein.
A mandatory pre-bid conference for all those interested in bidding the project will be held on June 3, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in the Supporting Services Building. Representatives of the University will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are required to attend. All representatives must be in the conference room of the Supporting Services by 9:10 and must stay for the entire meeting and site visit. All contractors are required to sign in and sign out after site visit. If contractor is late or leaves before the completion of the meeting or site visit, the contractor will not be considered attending the pre-bid conference.
All questions must be e-mailed to Shelly Albert, email@example.com, by June 7, 2011, 12:00 noon. Questions submitted after this date will not receive a response. Answers to all questions will be addressed in the form of an addendum and will be sent to all plan holders. Questions should not be addressed to any other SIUE representative. If contact of any kind occurs with any other representative, this will be grounds for disqualification.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.
Illinois Department of Human Rights
(IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals.
This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval.
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
